I LOVE our new floors!

Peaches

Our little peach tree is loaded with peaches. Dad picked about half so the birds & rabbits wouldn't get them. Maybe we can eat a few before they're all gone.

Flooring: Day 3

This is what the living room floor looked like at the end of Day 3. Nothing has been done in the kitchen yet. I'm hoping that our friend will be able to get all of the laminate flooring down in the dining area today.

Flooring: Day 2

At the end of Day 2 half of the living room floor is covered. All of the furniture shown now has felt pads on the bottom, making each piece easier to slide. EASIER, not EASY. The piano was, and has always been, HEAVY! First Dad moved all of the furniture shown across the room so our friend can work on the other half.

New Flooring, Day 1

We're having a friend install new wood laminate (engineered) flooring & tile flooring. The laminate in the living & dining rooms; the tile in the kitchen work area. We moved nearly everything to the garage. Ugh! Two china cabinets, two curio cabinets, and a 7 ft. tall bookcase to unload! Can't wait til it's all done!!
