Of course as soon as we brought home the 5-gallon bucket of paint, the temperature immediately shot up to 100 degrees! Just like the last time we painted several years ago........

New Stuff !
The highlight of my week has most definitely been the purchase of my new sewing machine. And it was my lucky day, because in the store that day was one of my 'quilting heroes' from TV. I watch this lady, Eleanor Burns, every Saturday morning on PBS.
She even signed my new sewing machine which is computerized & does embroidery to boot! I can't wait to start using it.

Some Old Pictures
Went to Daddy's yesterday, & he & I found a couple of boxes of Granny's pictures. I brought these home to scan. That's her working for the telephone company (I didn't know she ever worked for Bell Telephone.). She looks young, but her hair had already turned white by 19! Her parents (actually step-mother) are in the second picture. The last two are of them on a family vacation.
