A Wedding Shower for Sarah

The kind ladies of Carbondale had a wedding shower for Sarah & her new hubby Billy. It was SO nice. She received a lot of thoughtful gifts & was surrounded by nearly 60 dear friends! Isn't she beautiful!

He's So Talented

Here's my handy, crafty Daddy redoing the shelving above our new stove. He built two oak shelves to match the other cabinets & is about 90% finished. It looks great!

Our Loss

This picture was taken in July of '03 in my hometown. We recently lost Aunt Melva. However, Daddy & I were able to see her & visit with her for a couple of days before she passed. I have many happy memories of her & will miss her deeply.

Doing Better

We had a scare with our Scout this week. He has heart problems & had a bad couple of days. But he's better now. His sister rescued him by taking him to the vet & getting him fixed up!

I'm excited -- Here's my new smooth-top stove & red microwave! Next, Daddy will rebuild the cabinetry over the stove. He came down today, & we went to Lowe's today to get the materials, etc.
